Dear SRE Community,
We are excited to kick off the 2024-2025 school year at Sunset Ridge Elementary School! The PTO focuses their energy on promoting the educational experience through extra learning opportunities and fun activities to strengthen those social and emotional bonds!
We wanted to take a minute to welcome you to this amazing Sunset Ridge Elementary School PTO community. Our mission is to enhance the learning experience for all ages by providing extra opportunities to grow and learn. Our focus is on bringing the community together and uniting as one to provide the best experience we can for our kiddos to learn in different ways.
We accomplish this through organizing and funding events and activities throughout the entire school year across all grade levels. There is nothing better than seeing kids get to go on a field trip to a place they have never been and experience new things that they aren’t able to in the classroom. The excitement and community feel that vibrates throughout during Hulaween and VIP and Me night is something you will definitely not want to miss! It is wonderful seeing the kids interact with each other and teachers often show up to lend their support!
The PTO board and staff at SRE are committed and united in providing the best experience for the kids and watching their eyes light up at the bookfair when they find a new book, field day when they get to compete with their fellow classmates or just sitting down in small groups to discuss the book they read for Chat and Chew will make anyone fill up with pride. We are lucky to have such a cohesive parent/teacher organization and I am honored to be a part of it.
As we go into the 24-25 school year, the board’s objective is to grow the community involvement with the school and activities. Every little bit helps and we understand time is valuable. Thank you for donating, even just a little bit, to helping enrich the students’ lives at SRE. I look forward to interacting and getting to know each of you more this year. I truly love this school, teachers and community. I may be biased, but it is absolutely the BEST! Here is to another great year at SRE.
