Sunset Ridge Veterans Day Recognition 

For those who are new to the Sunset Ridge community, we host Veterans Day activities for the school community. Activities typically include breakfast for veterans and their families, a special assembly, and an opportunity for the veterans to meet with their host’s classroom for a small group discussion.

2022 information

Hello families:

Sunset Ridge has had a great tradition in honoring their Veterans since the school opened, over 20 years ago. The last two years our program looked different since we were unable to meet in person. This year we are excited to announce we are back IN PERSON!!!

Thursday, November 10, 2022, will be our Veteran's Day Celebration. This will be the day that our students will be recognizing the sacrifices the men and women of our Nation have made.

Below is a Link on how to Register your Veteran and families to attend the event. Please also register any Veteran you have even if they cannot attend so we can recognize their service in our book. Sunset Ridge recognizes the Veteran's attendance to the event and they receive an anniversary gift after 6 and 10 years in attendance. Please make sure you register your Veteran. They will also receive an E-book and hard copy of the book from the students of SRE!
